Poker is an extraordinary family of card games. The main factor of poker is to bet. The game in every form and every aspect includes the art of betting. Poker actually revolves around the act of betting. There are various families under the name of poker. The difference between these families mainly depends on the various types of betting. betting is something that one has to master, its differences in each game its etiquette etc., all need to be mastered by one who wants to be a master at poker.It is common said that the betting was evolved in to the game to avoid confusion, this also helps increase the speed of the game and rises the security of the player. Here are some of the different rules followed while betting is taking place in the different types of games
1) The betting starts with the one that deals out the cards and after that should be matched or raised but the person next. the chance normally rotates clockwise and no one is allowed to bet out of chances as this may not be good for the rest of the players.
2) The dealer then “opens” the round by placing a bet. This first round can be crucial. This is a blind bet and the others have to either match or raise the level of the bet of the previous player. If they cannot match the bet, they can choose the option to fold that is sit this round out.
3) The next step is to call. This is when the dealer finishes placing a bet and the chance is passed on to the person who is next and that person matches or rises up the bet. This whole process is called the calling. This is sometimes in some cases even called over calling. There are various types of call like the crying call, the smooth call etc.,
4) There is an option to place a zero bet. this is possible only if the dealer has not cut a bet yet. If no one has opened the round of bets, the other players can “check” the bet. This means this is a zero bet but the player can still keep his cards and be able to bet later in the game. This is done only to escape from opening the game.
5) The next step is to raise or match the bet. it is important to match a bet but if any of the player wants they can even raise the bet to more than the previous person. the next person in line will have to either match this raised bet or will have to raise it or if both of these options are out of hand, they will have to sit this round out that is fold.
6) Fold is to give up one’s turn and to sit a round out. If a person chooses to fold, he also loses any interest won during the round. However it is possible for this perdon to join back in the betting in the next hand.
